First Timer March 8th

Heading back to Phoenix March 8-11th to celebrate a friend's birthday and since I'll be there a day before everyone, I'm thinking about staying at Shangri La Resort that Saturday night. Has anyone stayed in the rooms there before? Any positives/negatives on the resort as a whole?
