It all depends on the role of the sub. As a gay male, my experience with sub/Dom relationships have been more of a personal need, or desire, to be controlled and not necessarily related to dick size. I've been a sub to a Dom and his dick was quite a bit smaller than mine. For me, He wanted to control (deny) my erections, orgasms and ejaculation. Sexual arousal is both emotional and physical. As males, we start getting erections in the womb. As boys, we learn that touching, or playing with our erection results in pleasure. As teens, we learn that masturbation, orgasms and ejaculation "relieves" the sexual tension. So as adults, we have to be "trained" to NOT get an erection when aroused. In my case, chastity was only used when I was left alone. Otherwise, I was disciplined for touching my dick, getting an erection or reaching orgasm. Most of my training was receiving anal sex on a very regular basis. For that, he brought in friends who had much larger dicks. If I got an erection, my dick was flogged until I was flaccid. If I accidentally ejaculated, the flogging was much more extreme.
