Looking for 2025 event dates
Here we are in April already, the social nudity juices are starting to flow. Anyone know the dates yet, or a reliable resource to find out? For me personally, the Portland and Seattle dates are priority since I live in the Seattle area. Time to begin scheduling and planning :)
Good luck.
I have found it very difficult to get any official info on many of the rides. This, for me is compounded by the fact that I refuse to join Farcebook.
Many of the rides have private pages on Farcebook as their sole source of official information and one has to be a member to view it.
The "official WNBR page, https://wiki.worldnakedbikeride.org/index.php?title=Main_Page is just about useless since the individual organizers of the rides do not seem to communicate with that page. Some of the most recent info is 2-3 years old.
This is a problem for me since the closest ride for me is over 800 miles away (NOLA) and now that I am working again, albeit part time, I have to put in for time off 3 months in advance. While getting time off in summer is easy, and always approved,That means that my hope for doing the Mexico City ride this June is pretty much dead, not to mention travel arrangements. Right now, it looks like Buffalo may be the only one I do this summer, included in my annual Western - Central N.Y. State vacation. I do have a source for info on that one, and their Farcebook page is "Public?", bu I can only scroll down 3 or 4 posts before they realize that Mark Zuckerberg is not making money selling my personal info to everyone and their Mother and blocks me. I may possibly do San Francisco later this summer since I have never been to California (Dallas and Madison, WI is the farthest I have ever been in my life, Have a sister in the Sacramento area that I could visit and there are usually other nude events going on that coincide with the rides.
yeah I agree with you on the sucky info that the general WNBR people fail to provide. Kinda what I was hoping to remedy here, thinking that the general fans might find more and better info...........was my intention anyway, we'll see lol
I am considering Buffalo, Montpelier, and Philadelphia. Hoping one of those work out. Injuries and scheduling interfered last year. :(. I have not seen dates yet on the WNBR site.
What will you do if the Montpelier WNBR and Sunny Rest 5K are on the same day?
Have you ever done Montpelier? Someone on another board said that he took advantage of Vermont's permissive public nudity laws and spent the whole day nudeleft his

Well already i know now I've hot a family commitment on June 21st. Seems like sunny first run is late june the second late august. Re Montpelier they are recently early june. Buffalo switched me up last year was mid july, which worked for me but they moved the date and i couldn't make it and philly i was in st martin.
I am not sure where I came up with the 3 month time or time off. It is actually 5 weeks, so there may be a sliver of hope for Mexico City, but there would be a lot of reservations to be made for it to work. Things like airfare (not cheap) to lodging (fairly cheap) bike rental etc.
But since I have no idea as to where in the city it is it would be difficult.
There are rides that have good info. San Francisco, Toronto, Montreal (same organizers as Toronto) all post their info well in advance. I see St Louis has posted the date and place for their ride this year although I have no intention of doing it again. nothing against the ride, just that I try to avoid doing repeats. If Mexico City falls through, I may do Toronto again since I truly enjoyed it last year and it is a reasonable drive from Buffalo where I have family. Of course, Buffalo is an annual event for me, but I have not seen an announcement on it yet.
Sometimes, I think trying to do these rides is more pain in the ass than they are worth.
