Cycling across Canada instead.

Things changed in the last 4 month and so I changed my plan as well.
Instead of going through the US, I will cross Canada from Edmonton to Halifax. My estimated route is: Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Cypress Hills, Winnipeg, Thunder Bay, Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Ottawa, Montral, Sherbrooke, Qubec, Matane, Moncton, Halifax. When I still have time and suitable weather I'll go to Prince Edward Island and maybe to St. John on Newfundland. Starting in May 2025 and ending in Halifax in October.
If anyone is on this route and want to join a bit of road with me, you're welcome. Or if you want to see this unusual solar powered e-assisted recumbent trike closer, flag me down. ;-)
