Micro Plastics

I read an interesting article today about how much microplastics our clothes shed, especially in the wash machine were the end up in the water supply if they are too small to be filtered out. The author discussed solutions for reducing them but skipped over the most obvious one, one which most everyone on this would say is the best one. They did say do laundry less often. In perfect world, I would agree. Unfortunately, this isn't a perfect world. We share it with textiles. Unless you're one of the fortunate few that have been able to avoid them entirely, clothing sometimes becomes a necessary evil

While I'm not a fan of wearing clothing, much like everyone else here, when I do have to, I only natural fibers if at all possible.

Should have said "Don't wear any when you don't have to, and wear as little as possible when you do."

Yeah non-textiled is the best solutions. Plastic is such a problem. Theyve found it in every organ in the body. We drink and eat it since everything is wrapped in plastic. A study of PFAS chemicals from goretex and other outerwear is another big problem.
