Restrict Group Creation/Ownership
Just curious... would it help cut down on the crazy groups if group creation/ownership was restricted to only those members who are certified? not talking about the individual members of groups, but the creators and owners... shouldn't they be certified at least?
Just a thought.... what does everyone else think?
I know it's all been suggested before, but if moderators were appointed to the forum and groups this could be taken care of pretty well. I'm sure some of the whiners will have a problem with more moderators but I'll maintain that this is a privately owned site and the owner has set the rules that all must follow. Appointing mods will ease up on the work that he has to do without having to hire staff. Every successful forum I've seen has mods. Groups would work the same way.
