Traveling to Oakland and San Francisco in September
Heading to USA for the first time with my partner between September 14th to 30th and looking for any recommendations for accomodation and things to do.
We dont need to strictly stay in San Francisco and happy to explore other accomodation sites that arent in the immediate city. The only thing is that we do want to head down to the Folsom Street Fair on the 28th. It goes without saying that any clothing optional activities and accomodation are preferred, but any recommendations are much appreciated!
You might want to check out my favorite nude resort, Laguna Del Sol, while in NorCal.
I would second this. Wilton is just south of Sacramento and less than a two hour drive from San Francisco. LdS is one of the nicest nude resorts we have been to as well.
I haven't actually been there but I did hear of a nude friendly place called "Harbinger Springs" or something along that name from a guy I met on my first (and still most lovely) nude beach just a mile away from a clothed beach called Stinson Beach. But don't take it all off at Stinson!
The nude beach is called Red Rocks; its parking area as you're driving north on Highway 1 (toward Stinson) is on the left, ocean side of the road, and a ten minute switchback hike down from parking to get to the pocket beach that I miss so much. And lock your car or leave no valuables in it - there was talk of things being stolen if you don't heed that warning. Rock climbing on the sea stacks is also a thing that's done there, but nude climbing is not recommended, hee hee!
