Nudist park changes in Florida
Unfortunately, we have effectively lost a couple of nice small resorts here in florida.
Sunny Sands resort in Pierson Florida has changed their business model. Close the bar and restaurant and is only renting RV and cabins by the month, and not allowing day visitors. a real shame...was one of our favorite places.
Edun Lake in Naples Florida has changed its name and is now a weekend only Swinger lifestyle member only club. It was a nice little nudist resort and its a shame because there's not another place near Naples or Ft Meyers...

Small, "traditional" nudist clubs are under pressure. We have a club close to us, Sunnier Palms, and it is a sad place. Median age of members must be in the 80s, unfriendly atmosphere. Clubs have to give visitors and members a better experience.
Cypress Cove seems to be thriving. Why? Members are engaged, dining options, lots of activities. Just sitting around the pool naked is not enough. We can do that at home.
For the folks in NE Florida, do remember that Hidden River (St George, GA) and Suwannee Valley Resort (White Springs, FL) are still open and have been friendly during my past visits. Though I haven't been in a couple of years, reports say they're still operational. Tallahassee Naturally is still open but quite basic, Bay Bares (Youngstown, FL with rough access road) and Hidden Lake (Jay, FL) are somewhat rustic but friendly during my past visits. Does anyone else know of other venues?
