Good question my friend.
I have.
Although now I use shorts with built in compression underwear when I practice without the GI. If I am practicing with the GI I dont wear underwear.

RE:Workout clothesA Gi is also sometimes referred to as a Kimono. But it is the traditional Jiu-Jitsu or Judo Uniform.

Is it the short one worn with pants and secured by a belt of a color indicating skill level?

RE:Workout clothesI would imagine that no bra while working out would feel much better. I feel absolutely constrained if I wear underwear so I can't even imagine.
Good on you friend keep it up.

When I was wearing underwear less often, one of the last places I wore it was the gym because I thought I needed some light support.
Once I tried it without, I wished I had started much sooner. The freedom was great.
The only place it was uncomfortable was the upright bike so I used the treadmill or recumbent bike instead.
