EVER INTRODUCE SOMEONE TO NATURISM/NUDISM?

In the early '00s, I had met a woman thru another site, where in my profile I included that I am bisexual and a nudist (yes, this may have cut down meeting people, but I'd rather be upfront and honest so others don't feel misled.) She could be described as a BBW A while after getting familiar and comfortable around each other, she inquired about my interest and participation in nudist activity, to which I was okay discussing. At the time, there was a local naturist group I belonged to that held monthly winter indorr swims veaa renting a gym. Since she was the one with the car, I said to her that if she didn't mind taking me to the next event, she is welcome to attend. She accepted the invitation in a slightly nervous manner, adding that she was gonna stick very close to me at the event.

So the night comes and we go to the event, which happened to be at a gym closer to where she lived than to me. We sign in, go to the dressing room and get undressed, but she kept her towel wrapped around her waist. As we walked around, she noticed the other folks there dancing, chatting, swimming, etc, which I think eased her mind a bit. Later on in the section set aside for food and beverages, announcements were made about upcoming activities, one of which was Nude X-Country Skiing; I think the dent on the floor from where her chin dropped is gone by now. The evening goes on and we sorta participate in things as well. Towards the end of the evening as we just sat lounging, she asked me did I want to go back to the pool. I said no,, then she said she was gonna go because she wanted to get a final swim in, and went to the pool area. After 5 or 10 minutes I went to the pool to check on how she was doing. Some people were in one part of the pool playing water polo, and she was in another part, just swimming around confidently on her own, seemingly without a care in the world. She had broken thru the mental barrier. She realized that social nudism is about body acceptance, not how the body looks. As we drove home, she uttered the same exact words I said after my introduction to nudism thru this group at a similar winter indoor event; "I can't wait to come back next month"

In the following year or two since then, we had attended a few more indoor events, and took a trip to a naturist resort in Florida for a short vacation, and in those environments she saw others with similar body proportions. We have since broken up so I couldn't tell you if she has gotten into any more nudist activity, but I'd like to think that she has gained a bit more self confidence knowing that there are those of us out here that don't judge people by standards that H'wood nor Madison Avenue set, but on their personality and character. What was your experience when you introduced a nervous BBW with body issues to naturism/nudism, or if you consider yourself A BBW, how was your introduction to it?
