British Cars
I only dug a few pages deep, but didn't see any British cars there, so I'm creating a new topic. I had a 1977 MGB for about 25 years, and now I have a 1973 Triumph TR6. I've done some easy upgrades, like adding electronic ignition, and an air horn, but mostly, it's stock. I'm the third owner. I'm now in the process of replacing the interior, since the basic black carpet and side panels was pretty ratty.
Unfortunately Im not mechanically inclined so British and Italian cars were very UNFORTUNATELY totally out for me here in Canada. I say that because of rust, lack of parts and engines made for twisty lanes rather than North American endless highways. British and Italian sports and GTs and luxury cars of the 1950s & 1960s were for me the most beautiful of all time! That was then and still is now! Albeit Mercedes models joining the rank! As a matter of fact all automobiles from those eras were very handsome
I live in WV, and our twisty roads are perfect for the TR6, and my previous MGB. I don't have to drive them in nasty weather, so neither were exposed to road salt. And they both have standard nuts and bolts, so all my old tools are useful again.
