I got to Spa World right at opening time. There were just a couple of other guys there. Once showered, I stepped into the bade pool and . . .
Brrrrrrr!
It was 87 degrees. No, it's not freezing, but it was too cool for that pool.
But they turned the heater on so the water coming out of the jets was warmer than the surrounding waters. That was really nice and it took the temp up to the mid-90s within about 40 minutes.
By then my friend Bulletisback was there and we enjoyed the space together.
The room stayed suit-free until about 10 a.m. Between then and the time I left (around 1:45), there were about a half-dozen guys in trunks coming through, though never all of them at once.
The place was busy but not crowded. Part of that was due to the behavior of the guys there. There was no jet hogging; everyone was moving around. I've been there with the same number of guys when it seemed crowded since no one was able to move around to different stations.
So it was a great day overall! I plan to get back there in early December.
