Non nudist sleepover

This wasn't a sleepover at a house but I was on a motorcycle trip over a long weekend this year and I roomed in a hotel with an older married long-time riding buddy for the first time. I knew he was conservative and perhaps a bit of a prude. I am not. I wasn't going to be rude and strut around naked all evening but I also wasn't going to completely cover myself 100% of the time. I didn't say anything, I just did what I would normally do except sleep attire: I usually sleep naked but again out of not wanting to be rude I slept in my underwear. Sleeping naked isn't that important to me so I didn't bother to bring it up. The first night he wore full length pajamas head to toe covered and only changed clothes in the bathroom behind closed doors. By the last night without a word the whole weekend about it he was down to sleeping in just his underwear and was even changing clothes in front of me. Maybe my behavior was rubbing off on him? Regardless, if we ever room together again I think I'll ask if he's ok if I sleep nude. I'd be curious if he follows suit, so to speak.
