Trigger Words for Chat Room
Well since you brought it up in PUBLIC on this forum.... I BANNED you for asking for any pretty ladies... AS we state so many times in the chat room... this is NOT a dating site... so asking for Ladies is considered asking for DATING... therefore I BANNED you!!!
@singleman - You would be correct to note that, when you signed up for the site, it offered you a what-are-you-here-for tick box for "dating", which you checked. So, indeed, the site is, quite explicitly, a dating site. The justification for banning you is disingenuous, and leads to the oft-repeated assertion that the chat mods are making their own rules. Indeed, in a strict sense, they are. A fairer justification for the ban would be that the venue and approach - asking in chat for "pretty ladies" - is clueless to the point of being offensive. Can you imagine ever doing something like that in real life, in a mixed group of people mostly talking about things of mutual interest?? And specifying "pretty" is objectifying a person you haven't even met yet.
The sense in which this is not a dating site is more practical - there aren't a lot of women, and many of those that remain are fake or hustling. Most have been pushed out by volumes of hamhanded overtures. Only in chat is there any control of that at all.
