I've been smooth most of my life. Growing up as a nudist, both of my parents trimmed their pubic hair. When I started puberty at age 9, I was a skinny little hairless kid with an above average penis for a 9 year old adolescent boy. As I progressed through puberty, my penis grew and while I began sprouting a few random pubic hairs, the rest of my body was hairless. As I grew more pubes, they were very thin and sparse. I still had no other body hair so my mom advocated for keeping my pubic area smooth by shaving. When I started 6th grade, I had just turned 11. We had open locker rooms and showers for sports and many of my peers were still prepubescent so my hairless body was not not unique, though my more developed genitals stood out, and I liked the attention. Starting high school at age 14, I finally had a growth spurt (in height), but it was obvious I chose to be hairless since my penis was basically fully developed at about 5.5" flaccid. I got "teased" by a few guys, but knowing that they were looking at my smooth penis intrigued me. I still have very little body hair so it takes very little effort to be hairless from head to toe.
Interesting story. My experience was very similar to yours as my body was pretty hairless so like you, I decided to stay hairless. Didn't let my bush grow until my late teens, but then I shaved it all again. Was just curious to see what my bush would be like
