FYI, TCN says possibly mid March opening of new parking lot and facilities. Looking forward to it.
Also hoping to meet some Blind Creek nudist groups my age for day at beach. Any 55 and up beach going ladies out there?

Ive gone a few times over the last 6 months but pretty much stopped going to Blind Creek. Going somewhere else.

I went a few times but it is a hassle parking at the northern lot and hiking 3/4 mile to the clothing optional area. I've been taking nude hikes on underutilized trails. Risky, I know.

All the announced opening dates so far have been approximate dates. Once an exact date is announced, I may start to believe it.
Kind of feels like Charlie Brown when Lucy keeps pulling the football away when he is trying to kick it.

I was there last week. The parking looks all but complete, but still not open. I'm sure it will be this month (March 2026). The walk from the Little Mud Creek parking lot is not bad on the paved walkway along the road. The beach was well-attended on Thursday and Friday. Plenty of friendly people to chat with and plenty of room to keep to yourself if you choose.

The parking lot and restroom have been pretty much done for 3 months! At first it was an electrical problem, then awaiting all the different agencies to sign off on it. While the past couple months were not a big deal since it was so cold...OK, cool for you northerners but now that we are starting to get nice weather, if it gets delayed again it is really going to suck. I feel bad for our visitors from up north, or the snowbirds and especially those that cant make the 3/4 mile hike each way.
