Tornado Season in the Northern Hemisphere

Here where I live, in the East-Central United States, Tornado Season is upon us. It comes twice a year, from November 15 to January 15 in winter time, and from March 15 to May 15 in spring time. The Weather from May 15 to November 15 is generally called "Hurricane Season" because that is when storm effects are generated by Hurricanes the most often.

What is the weather like, where you live?

RE:Tornado Season in the Northern Hemisphere

We had three EF-0s yesterday with minor damage - One house roof blown off in one town, One business with roof blown off in another town, haven't heard what the damage was from the 3rd one yet.

About 15 years ago, I had my garage door blown in by an EF-0 (Took them a week to decide it actually rated). About three years ago, 1/3 of my roof shingles went airborne in a strong gust of wind. Sustained wind speed was 35-45mph and they estimated gusts in excess of 90-100 mph.

It's fun living in tornado alley.
