Update on the Parking Area Construction
We're almost there, less than a week to go! (We hope...)
Per the latest update received from the County, the park will reopen Friday, March 20th or sooner. As soon as we know something for sure, we will send out a notice!
I hope that a specific date is a good sign.
We shall see.............
Now, according to the St. Lucie County website, they are saying late March

For me, it doesn't matter much since I am in the middle of a big project and would not have any free time for 4-5 weeks

UPDATE ON THE PARKING AREA

As you are probably aware, the parking lot did not open on 3/20 as previously projected. The County advised us today that they "hope" to complete all inspections and issue a Certificate of Occupancy "sometime this week."
We share your frustration. When it opens, we will let you know."
Sometimes we feel like Charlie Brown (us) trying to kick the football and Lucy (St. Lucie County) pulls the ball away at the last second and Charlie Brown falls on his ass.
Just received from TCN:
PARKING LOT IS OPENED!
We are pleased to announce that the project passed all inspections this morning, and the parking lot and restrooms are now OPEN!!!
The showers are operational but still need to be privatized. This will be addressed as a separate project between TCN and the County. Stay tuned.
