"Support" during sports and activities

Another one of my stupid newbie questions, but I've always wondered about this.
In nudist resort pictures, you see people playing volleyball, running, and doing all sorts of physical activities. I'm wondering how comfortable some of these sports are when certain parts of your body are bouncing around. As Kramer once said: "my boys need a home", and I can't imagine playing volleyball while "hanging loose". On the other side of the gender question, my rather well-endowed wife certainly wouldn't enjoy the constant bouncing she'd have to endure while running for any significant distance.
So are briefs or sports bras common in resorts, at least on the playing fields? Or maybe I'm expecting the competition to be more cutthroat than it really gets? How do people manage this?

RE: Support

Personally all through the years that I (B. J.) have been a naturist (50+ years), I have very rearly seen anyone wearing anything during any activity. Occasionally there was a lady or two who might have wore a bra (sports or otherwise) during volleyball (never any other activity though) but never have I seen any guy wearing anything (jockstrap, etc.). Even when I was active in Martial Arts (textile) I never wore any protection (was commando under my gi). One pays more attention that way to blocking! LOL!

I hear where you are coming from Rusty and thought some of the same things when I first started out. I have played volleyball, softball, and water polo all nude and without protection. It is something I don't really think about anymore.
