Friend Requests being delayed reaching me on my web-browser Firefox on Linux Computer
I use a Debian-based linux operating system for my laptop, and my web browser is a firefox browser.
I use the website almost daily.
I also multiple times a week get random friend requests from far away. They often are saying "hi, how are you doing" and sometimes asking me questions.
I generally decline these friend requests if it is not from someone I already know in real life, which is every single one of them, since I do not know all these people in real life.
Sometimes, the accounts will continue to send friend requests, even though they are declined by me because I do not know these people.
I generally am trying to reduce my use of this platform, somewhat. But whenever I log in, I see that someone sends me a friend request almost every day, Usually from someone that I do not know, who I usually decline politely the friend request.
My Question is this:
Why is it that whenever I log off, they send a friend request at a time when I am logged in but I do not see it when they see it, and usually only see it 15 hours later?
I really do not know what is happening there. The website/platform delays the notifications of the requests usually by 15 hours to two days, and I have always had enabled the notifications for the friend requests, and I allow all of the requests to be sent to me under my user settings.
Is there any cause of this?
What could I do to make sure the requests are reaching to my computer hours earlier?
I am just unsure as to why this website/platform takes so long to reach me on my Linux laptop on the firefox browser in this time.
I prefer to use a linux laptop for its capabilities. It has good software on it that is privacy-respecting, and I only want to remain on the linux laptop for a long long time, since the software is supported and the laptop and browser are capable.
... who I usually decline politely the friend request.
Big mistake! They know you're willing to engage. They'll probably wait you out when you're
most vulnerable and desperate. They'll keep hounding on you.Is there any cause of this?
Why does this concern you? What could I do to make sure the requests are reaching to my computer hours earlier?
You want to think that's there's something you can do. But in reality, there's nothing you can do.I am just unsure as to why this website/platform takes so long to reach me...
Maybe it's the owner's way of slowing down people using the Friend Request to spam others in this websiteI prefer to use a linux laptop for its capabilities. It has good software on it that is privacy-respecting, and I only want to remain on the linux laptop for a long long time ...
That's irrelevant. Whether you use BSD, Mac OS, Linux, Unix, Windows, etc., it's not going to speed up your FRIEND REQUEST notifications.Sometimes, the accounts will continue to send friend requests, even though they are declined by me ...
When they send a friend request, KEEP THEM IN THE QUEUE.
Do not Accept AND Do not Decline. Why?
They cannot send another Friend Request, if they remain in your Friend Requests list.

The best advice.
This has been our strategy for dealing with unwanted friends requests for years.

It is not likely a linux issue. It is probably not a Firefox issue either.
The TN servers are often slow. Background processors are often the slowest. So, delays usually for a few minutes are normal.
I have found that using the Firefox "refresh" button will sometimes update what was running in the background.
Keep on experimenting! You will probably find some solutions.

interesting response.
From now on, I will not worry about it and merely not view And Simulteanously NOT ACCEPT any friend requests. Thanks all.
I guess that is the reason.
I wish for this site to be able to delete some of the already-flagged scammers, but not to use AI to fight the scammers.
Using AI to fight the scammers will backfire.
They need professional hand-coding and other computer-programming people to INSPECT, AUDIT, And Clean Out the code and users of this website for spam by hand, upon human and manual review, and go on a hiring spree for more of these types of Computer Programmers and Computer Experts. If they work, keep them.
If they still have huge spam problems, truenudists' owners needs to shut down the website after The 2nd In Day February 2027.
I am not an expert nor an expert computer programmer. I am unable personally to help as an individual. It is the owner of truenudist's site's responsibility to fix any and all issues themselves as a business owner, anyway.
It seems the old "nudist dating and meetup website" business is going the way of the "Newspaper and Magazine Publishing buisness" in that many websites are dying out just like some people are abandoning newspaper publications and magazine publications in use and ownership, as the trend has been moving more toward online in newspapers in the last 30 years (since 1996 to this year 2026) since that time.
