The Ledges of VT after flooding

In case anyone was planning to visit The Ledges in Vermont for the holiday weekend, word is that flooding has affected the area very badly, roads in the Wilmington area are washed-out, the village was flooded, and right now only the National Guard has been able to get to the town to bring food, water and supplies in the past 48 hours. The water in the area is not clean and basically the surroundings are a disaster area and visitors are probably not going to be welcome while they try to sort things out.

RE: The Ledges of VT after flooding

My heart goes out to this area and the great people of Wilmington and Mount Snow. Has anybody heard how they are doing or how the recovery is going? Bad time for the State with foliage and ski season coming too. Vermont depends so much on the hospitality industry. I have spent so much time enjoying that area. Great people, Bed and Breakfasts, restaurants, galleries, and of course relaxing naked sunning and swimming at The Ledges.
