Never heard of it? It's likely the OP's native language, given that he's from that part of Belgium. He writes English better than I write any language I've studied, and yes, I've traveled where those languages are spoken.
I do notice from your own associations, you're with a group (won't name it) that prides itself on being better than everybody else.
