RE: What do people think of the new site.

And does anyone know how to get to the "Home" page? Is it still there? When I click on "Home" it goes back to my page. Am I missing something?

I was wondering about that myself.

Just seen the new format for the first time, it's going to take some getting used to and time to learn to navigate my way around.

One thing that should be adopted in the forum is the actual date and time of the post rather than X seconds/minutes/hours/etc. ago.

Agreed with that. :-)

The premium image definitely has to go.Folklover, couldn't agree with you more. I find it distasteful, offensive and feel that it completely sends the wrong message.

It will take some time to get used to. But, I think it is an improvement.

One problem I noticed; a few of the pictures in the gallery are out of proportion. The ones most obvious are 'stretched' vertically making the individual look like a tall toothpick. Is this a clitch in the program or is there a way to avoid this with the uploading process?

After using the new site for a few days and getting to know it's ins and outs, I feel that TT1 threw the baby out with the bathwater. As with so many things in life, always be leery of something that is new and improved. Chances are good that it is neither.

umm I really dont like seeing other peoples new friends,, why would I wish to see who has made friends with who?
I also do not like the ability to see outher peoples comments-not sure about why that is important either-its sort of snooping.

Other side, there is more logic to this layout - I do thou miss the current topics of convo on the front page. I feel for new people it makes people feel at home by almost asking for their input.

Getting used to it ... TMI right on my personal home page, though: both for me and for anybody who casually wanders past it ...

Didn't like it at first but it kinda grows on you. In a few weeks we will be asking ..new site? what new site?
