Pictures
It appears to be the same as before. Go to your pictures, click on it to get a larger image, right click and "copy image location" or your browser's equivalent, then in the replying to a topic window, click on the photo icon, paste url where asked, ok and wait for it to show.

Now I see that doesn't work though it appears as if it will.

It appears we can't link from our galleries on TN
Instructions that work for me, on a Mac, using Safari.
- Go to your pictures.
- Click on your picture.
- Right click on your picture and choose "Copy image address"
- Go back to where you plan on replying to a thread.
- Click reply.
- Click on the "insert image" icon. (This may be different for different browsers)
- Paste the image address that you copied for your image.
- Click OK.
That should be it.
********Ignore the text below. I edited this post, but am leaving the original post below so people don't get confused. Ignore everything below this line:********It is the same as before.
In my profile, I click on Pictures.I click on the picture I want.I click on it again (which enlarges it)I then right click and choose "view source" or "View Page Source".Here is the tricky part. You will see links to a lot of .jpg files. One of them is the one you want. I copy the URL for the image and open a new page, pasting the URL into it. If the resulting page is the image I want, that is the URL I paste into the window when choosing to insert a picture. That is the same method I use in the old site.
When relying to a post, click on the icon on the far right (red box around it in this image).
Insert the address URL for your image into the popup window when asked to "Enter the target URL of the image:"
I don't know the method you used to get the following address, but that is the one you want. It looks like the only address that was pasted in directly with the text:https://imagecdn.socialcomediallc.netdna-cdn.com/people/u7mao/8ffa0a0a36cd7ae98889b8de2fc3b68f.jpg
All your image addresses should look like this, ending in some random string with .jpg attached on the end.

You are joking, arn't you. I clicked on "View Source" and got a lot of gobbldegook or machine code or similar. Not being a computor scienist I could not make head or tail of it.
What happened to the easy way of doing it?
Ollygrumps. Not entirely joking, sadly. That is the way I did it in the past and it still works. You're right about it being a mess, but I got that process from your instructions. I think it was somewhere in the "Nude Self Portrait Photography" group, but that was probably 6 months ago that I read about it.
I must concede that different browsers and different platforms display differently. I saw an image posted by another person like mine, but they had an extra icon that I didn't have.
Anyway, I've edited the post above with simpler instructions. Hopefully that helps. Hopefully that works for you too.
I found the URL by right clicking on the photo and clicking Properties. I then coppied the URL and pasted it here (there being no row of icons) and this is what I got. Very pritty.
