Public opinion about nudity
Too many people view nudism as a sexual thing to do with your spouse. What they dont realize is the lifestyle they are leaving behind just by judging a book cover.Being a textile myself but wanting to change into at least closet. Ive noticed that people have evolved their clothing from just being useful to being a part of themselves.
Clothing was first made to keep out cold, sand, gravel and other things that "harm" your body. Thats why we have SKIN! it regrows and doesnt cost a thing to wear. Also, people who judge nudism have to think about this one, most people love to feel the wind in their hair, grass in their toes and sun on their face, we have touch nervs all over our bodies, not just our hands feet and faces.

And frankly, I don't know if it will ever change. The basic fact is that most people have sex while nude, so the two are forever intertwined in their minds. It's kind of like you either "get" non-sexual nudity, or you don't. And most people never will.
I think it will change. It is much closer now than it was 40 or 50 years ago. People in the nudist community are rather pessimistic because the change isn't happening very quickly, but it is happening. 40 years ago, what would have happened to the majority of people participating in WNBR rides? They would have been arrested for indecent exposure! Most of the bikinis on the beaches nowadays would have resulted in arrests a few decades ago. And "Last Tango in Paris" was rated X! Tell me people aren't slowly becoming more comfortable with nudity! In fact, it is legal to be naked in one of the major cities of the US - San Francisco. And several cities, including New York, allow women to be topless. Once one city starts, and it doesn't cause the apocalypse, others will follow eventually. Look on the bright side!
