You could have provided the establishment wanting to keep security cameras going with a tape with the stipulation of retreiving it after the event. Have a lawyer prepare a document stating as much. How many people would be watching the security tape? Would it be possible for one of your members to stay in the area of the screens during the event?
Insurance cannot be denied if the cameras are turned off, even if there is an agreement. I would think covering the camera in the pool area could be done. The fear here is that an employee would take the tape and put it on the web and people would be discovered. I see some peoples fears of this, since I work, I could be affected also. Just be glad you can find such places to hold these events.
