Today is day three of Sundance. Seen a couple good films, hit some good parties, but this is a weird Sundance this year. Many of the usual organizations are not here this year, and some of the ones that are here have become much more elitist (I'm calling you out, Tweet House, and T-Mobile), and event venues have become much more expensive (from an event producer's point of view). The crowds are much bigger. A lot of people are having trouble getting here because the airlines are booked solid to Utah, and the Heber airport reached capacity at one point for those flying private. Sunday and Monday will be my busiest days, with 12 events Sunday and 11 on Monday, plus some films fit in between. A good fest so far, albeit weird.
