RE: what was your first gun?

My dad gave me a Springfield 22 semi-auto with a tubular magazine and a gold trigger when I got my gun safety certificate from the local American Legion. Dad made a backstop out of a big elm log so we could shoot in the basement at home. I had that rifle forover 30 years until it was lost in our house fire back in 1997 along with the rest of my rifles, shotguns and handguns. Never did a lot of hunting with it but sure shot up a lot of paper targets.

Hi I now own a single shot break barrel .410 made by New England arms. Found it at a gun show last year, paid $90 for it. I love it! The prarie dogs are in jeopardy around here.
