Actually, I believe it is possible to bump a thread by replying to it and then deleting your comment, causing it to show up in the recent posts list. It's an annoying "feature", but I think that Zak is probably off the hook.
By the way, I didn't bump it, and am not particularly interested in debating the topic here.
