Stupid or what?

Hi, today I had a shave at work and of course to do this had to take my shirt off. Later on in the morning I noticed that I had unintentionally not fastened one of the buttons. I am guessing that my boss had not noticed as in the past she has made jokey comments about reporting me for sexual harrasment for flashing my moobs at her. Any way I buttoned up and started to worry a bit about if anyone else had noticed.
Then I realised how stupid this was as in a couple of weeks time if all goes well I will be debuting at a local naturist gathering where folks will see much more than my moobs.
Wondering if anyone else gets concerned about this kind of thing when in a textile setting, or is it just an indication that maybe I am not ready to go public.

RE: Stupid or what?

They , are not particularly prudish where I work at least judging by the level of banter, that gets quite ribald at times. Although my boss is a devout textile if ever there was one. A couple of years ago she came back to work complaining about the disgusting behaviour of a couple who had been beside them on the beach one day.
What happened to provoke this? She only took of her top and sunbathed topless, then later started playing either frisbee or tennis with her partner; while in the same state of undress. That apparently made my boss feel ill - the sight of those "spaniels ears" bouncing around. The boss and hubby departed looking for a more suitable location. I am wondering what would have happened if they had come across a nude beach.

It does not cease to amaze me, in today's society to experience how people can be so opposed toward the freedom of being nude.
Most of us have traveled to many cities worldwide, looking at old buildings and fountains in parks. Very often one can see displays of statues of nude appearance. There is nude motives and images many people everyone can observe in art galleries. in other words
nudity is in almost everyone's face. Artists in ancient times, to this very day have been and are inspired by the appearance of the naked human body. I find this kind of expression of nudity fascinating. Quiet some years back, I had a partner of a strict upbringing,
her parents frequented our place, just a bit too, often. I used to own a miniature version statue of " Michel Angelo's David" .After almost each visit to our place, I've had to search for the very statue,as it was hidden out of side. As I did question her mother, as to why, I've got the reply," We don't surround ourselves with images like that". My reply was," how stupid of you, if you don't like it, you
better stay, where you don't have to look at it" after all it's not your place. I can't stand this kind of un accepting behavior.

RE: Stupid or what?

Well I got my answer last weekend about whether I was ready or not. I finally got along to the local swim night and had no problems at all. Mind you that was after a false start the previous week, when I wimped out and failed to contact the membership secretary to arrange my visit. Looking forward to next Saturday, and planning other outings for the future. :)
