Dirty Cooks

Earlier today, Isaw thecook Sunny Anderson, preparing a chicken dish. This woman should never be allowed in any kitchen until she has had some basic training in food hygiene.
I watched her handle raw chicken, not once, but twice without washing her hands and then pick various other things up around the kithen.
This is one of many television cooks with poor hygiene standards, I've seen over the years. If people can't bother to do a job right, then leave it alone.

RE: Dirty Cooks

Actually that is not such a gross disregard of standards if:
a) the chicken had grown in a farm and been slaughtered in verifiably salmonellosis-free conditions and the cook was aware of it (would have been decent to mention it anyway in order to make viewers do things right at home)
or
b) all the food items she touched after dealing with chicken were to be heated afterwards
Anyway, I fail to see how this relates to nude lifestyle. Maybe "anything else" would be more appropriate section for this.

Anyway, I fail to see how this relates to nude lifestyle. This statement is all over the forums. This is my understanding of nudism. Anything we do clothed, we can do naked as long as, "its appropriate to be nude". Otherwise clothed when necessary.
So....with that in mind. Isn't everything we do or say, have to do with nudism. I love cooking naked, I love doing everything naked. I loved debating on these forums naked. We are nudists, that doesn't mean we have to talk about being nude all the time. For many, this is the only forum where they voice their opinions.
Maybe that's the reason these forums have become lame. If we are only allowed to talk about things that have to do with our state of being unclothed, then yes, they will become lame. Issues in the clothed world are issues to nudists as well.
Travelnudie....I am not calling you out...I just see this a lot on this site. I read your posts , and many are insightful and informative...thanks!

If it's just for myself, the lack of sanitation actually keeps me healthy. If I'm cooking for others I understand the liability issue and hygiene is top of the list.

She is giving a cooking lesson to viewers, on national television. The total disregard for hygiene, shows that this person is incompetent to teach anyone.

Cooking shows are rarely done in real time. They are taped or at least tape delayed and edited. Most shows will explain good food handling procedures at some point. The food being prepared usually isn't the final product. That chicken was prepared and thrown in the oven long before the start of the show. The mundane duties of handwashing and cutting board exchanges are edited out ..otherwise the shows would be the big yawn. At least in America, I think the producers leave it up to us, to use good common sense and diligence to handle our food properly. Food handling is a very important issue here. Even as a barman I had to go through extensive food handling training.
Maybe drop a line to the network with your concerns.

Yes, I think that is the best course of action.
