I used to go to a LAfitness on my area the main reason is because most guys were nude in the dry sauna, recently they put up a sign by the sauna door that stays you must wear swimsuit or towel in the sauna... soo disappointing.
I wonder the reasoning behind the change in policy.
To flsmoothie. I'm sure the reason is because theyre trying to discourage sexual activity in the steamrooms and saunas between men. As a Bi ...gay guy I personally don't have a problem with this but can certainly understand a naive str8 guy would. Especially if it's in a Y - since its backed by Christian principles. But as a man who likes being nude and is totally fine to strip down it does sound ridiculous. To the one who said he may change to the Y from his present gym, I'd be curious to see how that turned out.
And the thought that many 20's guys don't shower at all or shower with their swimsuits or towels on is correct with what I see as well - and I'm sure a lot of it DOES have to do with the fact that they've never had to shower at school.
