Movies: John Carter of Mars (yes, regarding nudity!)

Is anyone looking forward to seeing this big screen version of the "John Carter " [of Mars] story?
Do fantasy stories with amazingly skimpy costumes inspiring people to view nudity in general more favorably? My guess is someone would need to do a movie audience survey immediately after a screening and ask whether the costumes worn by the characters were appealing or not?
Does anyone think outfits such as these could be worn in our society outside of the Cosplay (tm) events where people are expecting to see others dressed in less to impress?
I think older movies such as "Conan the Barbarian" did impact the way people view adventure stories, historical fantasy and clothing in general even if this happened over a very long period of time; with many, many viewings of the movies and children being raised to adulthood WITH this type of art as a primary influence for their generation.
It seems some of the existing artwork depicts a great deal of nudity in the John Carter stories, but I doubt this will make it into the Disney produced version.

Anyway, I would like to see everyone's comments on fantasy movies in general and especially if there are other, similar movies members would recommend fellow True Nudists watch!
Thanks in advance!

I've looked forward to seeing John Carter for a (relatively) long time. I read a lot of Edgar Rice Burroughs when I was a kid in the Navy ('77-'82) so it's been a while. That's what has me hooked... I never even gave nudity a second thought :( For this event, I'm actually more eagerly anticipating all the other eye-candy... special effects, futuristic cityscapes, and spaceships as imagined by someone other than George Lucas, or Gene Roddenberry.

Game of Thrones... that has some eye-popping "scenery," huh? Soft porn that pushes the edge... you know these producers want to "go all the way!" I contend it won't be long to when every good romance movie will have explicit "action" in it. With modern medical procedures and contraception, they will be able to claim that no crucial moral boundaries are really being exceeded. As church membership and marriage numbers continue to decline, I think the world is in for some interesting cultural changes.
