First time at a clothing optional resort
I recently brought up going to a nude beach with my girlfriend, and to my surprise she loved the idea. It took no convincing at all! The nearest nude beach to us is a relatively long drive, and we want to do it soon, so we found a clothing optional resort that is not too far from us. It is called The Grove, and it is in Cleveland, GA. Everything I've seen so far on the site looks great. Anyone been there? Does anyone have any tips for someone who has never been in a clothing optional environment? We're a little nervous, but excited more than anything.

That one is a "Lifestyle" club and don't recommend it at all. Just across the road is Serendipity (great directions on their website) and it is G-rated and visit as often as we can. https://www.serendipity-park.com/
The full name of the one you mentioned has more to it.

What exactly is a "Lifestyle" club? Sorry, I'm sure that's a newbie question, but I have no idea. Or anyone have a link explaining the difference? I read a little about Serendipity and saw mixed reviews.
EDIT: I just read some more on their site, and I now know the difference. That may be something we try later on, but probably not our first time.
I too have not been to a resort yet but plan to try Serendipity this summer when I'm up near there. I hear it is one of the best. If Cheri thinks highly of it then it must be good! And I think they accept single men which i would be since my wife is not interested in the nudist lifestyle.
Our first time to a clothing optional resort was no big issue. I stripped down right after our arrival and my wife wore a G-string and went top-less to the pool with me and kept her bottoms on until her first swim and took them off to sunbathe and at the end of the day she walked nude back to our room with me. Then that evening we went to the cafe nude and she was the only nude woman at the bar. There were a few other nude men but all of the other women had sarongs on.
My wife and I visited a clothing-optional resort for the first time last summer. It was no big deal.As soon as we got checked in and parked the car,I got naked. It does not bother me to be the only nude person in a crowd.
