Social Media.
I would call it virtual media, since we are not really socializing in real life.
My first question is: how did nudists communicate prior to the internet era / prior to TN ?How did they know if someonewasa nudist?Or put it this way: do we really have a better social communication by using TN? Or just collecting "friends" we never see in real life? Do we meet people more in real life now than back then?
Yes, we have chat room, but be honest, in chat room, do we really chat like we chat in coffee shop? With comments come and go so quickly, I wouldn't call it chatting.
The more social media we use, the more physical separation we have. Are we waisting time in using social media? Is there any improvement in life by using social media?
Just a thought.
Before the internet (BI), communication was terrible for us. We had organizations such as AANR but that was about it. All other communication was by word of mouth. Even resorts were hard to find. A lot of them even had unlisted phone numbers. There were a few magazines but they were hard to find. The only way that they were published were as health journals. I.e. Sunshine and Health. How many people can remember seeing a copy of that? Today with the internet (AI) things are a lot more open and less stressful. The internet has really opened a whole new world for us and I am thankful for that.
