First Farrah and now Michael?

I'm thinking that June 25, 2009 is a very sad day indeed. Read the news this morning and find out my (and nearly every man's out there) favourite pin-up girl, Farrah Fawcette has passed away due to anal cancer at 62 and now I find out that Michael Jackson has passed away! TMZ is reporting that he has died, but most other online news sites are reporting that he is in cardiac arrest, but I'm thinking he has probably passed on. What a sad day. :(

I can't believe I forgot about Ed!! Thanks Orlando, because he certainly shouldn't have been missed. Truth be told, I didn't find out he passed away until yesterday.

You know, love them or hate them, there's no denying that these three people changed their respective industries and they will influence them forever in one way or another. R.I.P.

I remember holding onto the record player at a very young age and dancing my ass off to "Beat It." His music has been an integral part of my life growing up and I have to thank him for that rest in peace Michael.

Well, what a shock, what can you say, yet another reminder that any of us can go at any time. It's ironic, he probably gave more pleasure to more people (and will continue to do so, long into the future) than anyone that has ever lived, and it probably cost him his own happiness. None of us can know how we would cope with handling that kind of success, so we should not be too quick to judge him, but whatever else you think about him, he was undeniably, one of, if not -the- most, talented musician and entertainer, of all time, his achievements will never be surpassed. He will be sadly missed by many, and never, ever, forgotten.
