Fustrated member....
I joined TN on June 01, 2012 and as of June 09, I became a certified (PAID) member, it seemed the right thing to do.... I personally wanted to become a certified (PAID) member so folks could be assured that I am who I say that I am and not be afraid that they are talking to a perv, peep or whatever.
Currently I limit my photos to being seen by "certified" friends and PG rated photo's to friends for my own privacy and protection. I also would like to ad that I had completely filled out my info page and made that viewable for all to read. And yet I'm getting grief in the chat room from private members making claims that I'm everything but real. I'm not sure how others are viewing my profile I just hope my settings are set correctly to my needs.
I would be interested on hearing from both certified and non-certified members as to their views and/or opinions on the above said matter and if it's even possible on making real friends on TN but without the DRAMA.
I just had a quick glance at your profile...Nothing screams perv or anything but genuine. I don't know your actions in the chatroom. The chatroom can be very cliquish. A little advise would be to participate only in the main chatroom, until you are established. Avoid private chats unless asked. The women (and men) here, get hit on lots by "strangers" or new members with less than genuine intent. Say hello in the main room and join the chat. Even though lots of sexual innuendo is being exchanged, hold your tongue until you are more established. Friends made in haste are often lost in haste. Get to know the people you are chatting with..there are some really nice people on this site. Good luck!
I understand your frustration, I understand members and nudist, as a whole, being cautious. It just strikes me funny that we, nudists, seem to do the same thing to one another as main stream society does to us ... and yet we complain about them but always fail to look in the mirror ... Welcome to the world of ... " I don't trust anyone!" LOL I don't go into chat rooms ... anywhere. I don't believe in ... you gotta pay your dues before you're accepted and allowed to participate. I'm not sure who made all these "veteran" people ... Judge and Jury over everyone else. Good luck with your stay here. Hopefully you find less drama with people you meet and make friends with. Hang in there!

Thanks raven for glancing at my profile. When in the chat room I instantly begin chatting and joking around it's my way of life. I just really want to see if being a nudists is something that I would like to incorporate into my-life and if so then meeting and chatting with like minded people would be a start in that direction.
Welcome to the site, I had a look at your profile and everything appears genuine. I spend a lot of time here on the forums, but never bother with the chat rooms. There are some good friendly helpful people on here, butas withmost large sites, you will always find many fakes.
Just take your time looking around the site and reading the forums, this should help you in deciding about who to have on your friends list.It is a good idea to always have a look at someone's profile and read about them, before accepting a friend request.

I had wrote and rewrote my reply to your comment and then decided why try to fix whats not broken. I mean I agree with you 100% and I hope people who are reading this post will begin to think and perhaps move on to sharing what I'm seeing a wonderful thing verses deterring many great people who are interested in nudism.
I'm optimistic with TN site and know I will meet some wonderful people it will just take a little longer then I expected...:) I only hope that the veteran nudists will begin to see that in order to grow you must except new comers along with bringing in fresh ideas and perhaps then, may the main stream society begin to accept nudism. It's just my thoughts...
I am not in the chatroom 24 hours a day watching what is going on, but I haven't noticed excessive attacks against you, or even witnessed any attacks against you. I know that you have gone on camera, so together with everything else you have done I don't know what more you can do to convince these people. Maybe they are just being troublemakers. I do detect more hostility and negativity in the chatroom than normal lately, and I hope this will pass. Currently, people are very very quick to see the worst in every action, and interpret anything ambiguous as being an attack. Maybe you are caught up in this feeling as well.
I appreciate you sharing what you have witnessed in the chat room. I apologize on not being clear. When all this a cured I was in the chat room but my attacks have been sent to me threw Pm's. So yeah nobody would have noticed a thing. It's refreshing to know that the hostility and negativity in the chat rooms I was feeling was not my imagination and I too hope that it pass.
If you really enjoy being nude-- your a nudist. It doesn't matter wheather you are around others or not.
As far as the chatrooms, hay youve gotten PMs. sounds as if you have been accepted to some degree even if negatively.Thats more than I have recieved and I have been here quite a while. Don't mind though I still enjoy reading what others have to say.

That's a good point if someone enjoys being naked whether around people or not you're still a nudist.... Since day one I had gotten many PM's and still do, and now that I think about it I've actually have gotten very few negative ones. So what I've learned here from you is that I should count my blessing and not sweat the small stuff. Thank you for pointing that out...:)
