Record Skinny Dip at Whispering Pines Nudist Resort.
It was a festive atmosphere. The parking lot was at near capacity. TV crews were on hand, though, of course everyone had the option of not having their face appear on camera. Well over two hundred participants were looking forward to the countdown at 3 oclock Eastern Nude time. Present were nudists with head to toe tans as well as those that appeared as if they hadn't seen the sun all summer.
Whispering Pines management and volunteer staff did a commendable job keeping official registration friendly and well organized. The gates had opened at 12:30 pm and quests that had not paid grounds fees were welcome to stay until 4:30pm. The pool was well used all afternoon and the volleyball court, horseshoe pit and otern games were available for all to enjoy.
As 3 oclock approached and we waited for our claim to fame, a spot in the Guiness World Book of Records, beach balls were flying back and forth across the pool. The pool was so filled with so many nude bodies that water began overflowing onto the pool deck. An announcement was made that anyone who didnt want their face recorded by the TV cameras could simply turn around so only the back of their head would show. I dont think anyone chose that option.
At 3 oclock wild cheering and applause. We had our place in The Book.
To sum it up: a great time was had by all all and I urge anyone that wasn't in attendance to be there when an attempt is made to break this years record.
