Male Cancer Awareness

There is a poignant feature on the Male Cancer Awareness Campaign (MCAC) website. It subtly encourages men to be more relaxed about their own bodies and nudity in order to facilitate earlier detection of cancer. https://www.malecancer.org/nnm/abouts/campaign

We often put these things off,and say " I feel ok, so there's no need for a checkup ", but of course you feel ok, because many things don't show any visible signs until it is too late.
So do as the man said,
Don't wait til you're dead.

Too many people treat their bodies like they treat their cars. When your car makes a strange noise it might be a sign that something is going wrong. Many people will just turn up the volume on their radios and the annoying sound seems to go away. That is until the problem becomes catastrophic, then it's too late.
When your body gives you a strange symptom, get it checked before it's too late. The life you save may be your own.
Here's a hint for all the men who love their wives. Learn how to do a breast exam and insist on doing a proper breast exam on your wife at least once a month. Become her Bosom Buddy. She'll love you for it.

The problem with a lot of cancers is that there are no symptoms until it is too late to fix it.
An hour or so of indignity can mean many more years of life.

I had a form of male cancer a few years ago and went to the doctor and had an operation about 6 weeks after seeing the doctor so if you think there is a problem please go the quicker the better and don't leave it.
