Congressman Quayle, who is runningin my district, was there with his wife, who was then 8 1/2 months pregnant. The reports are that he was also in the water, but clothed. His wife did not go in the water.
Today I've received several phone calls trashing Quayle for his behavior. The opponents are quick to capitalize on any piece of negative news regardless if deserved or not.

Well, he has bigger problems than that. He had a previous, large investment in a porn company. And that's not too popular with good republicans. Publicly, at least.

This is a year old story?

I am so disappointed. This is the first time that I was in complete support of a Republican's behavior and he had to go an apologize for his (skinnydipping) behavior.

Who is the "he" of which you speak? There were several congressmen on this junket but only one who was nude. Which of these people are you referring to?
