Wondering what time---lot #5 Appollo--weekends?

Going to New Smyrna Beach in a couple of weeks---have not been in a few years and we are wondering what time we need to be at the National Seashore front gate on saturdays and sundays to get a parking spot at #5? I think it opens at 6am...do we need to be there then to get a spot?thanx in advance!Dusty and Wendy
