My yard is not secluded enough to be outside nude, which is where all my building projects take place. But if I could I would, with the exception of one building method. The method is welding. That's something best done with protective clothing on. With all the hot sparks, molten metal and intense UV light associated with this activity, proper protective clothing is a must have. When arc welding, the light given off from the arc will blister the skin in short order(worse than sunburn), not to mention the fact it is difficult to concentrate on laying down a good weld bead when you are constantly flinching when the hot sparks are hitting unprotected skin. Carpentry and concrete work are no big deal though. But if someone were to need some help building something and their property were sufficiently secluded then I would help them build it in the nude, weather permitting. Although I would most likely still need to wear my tool belt for obvious reasons.
We were in CO about 6 weeks ago and stayed with friends who are also nudists. We did quite a few things, in the nude, while we could. They have grown children still at home and though they were being raised as nudists, they grew out of it and asked them not to be nude around them anymore.
I have many pictures of us building a bar, rebuilding a fence, working on one of the kid's cars ... but they all have our friend/friends in the picture so I can't upload them. They live in a small town and we understand their concerns about their pictures being seen. So ... you'll just have to wait til I build something around here or have a picture taken with just me in it! hahaha
I have started a new project. It's not "building" as much as it is "assembling." I'm making wine bottle tiki torches. I'll post some pics soon.
