Message's

A lot of people state they are on this site to meet new friends and to share toughts etc, why is it than that everytime I send a message to some of the people who accepted me as a friend, delete or do not answer my message when I send them one? P.S. The message's I send are in no way sexual related, only to get to know someone or show interest in someone.
I can't speak for everyone, but I try to respond to all my messages in a timely manner. Some people I send messages to respond and some don't. Some respond by showing up for get together and saying Hi. LOL

I hate to be the one to say this, but there are also many fake profiles on this site (as with most websites lol). While I have no proof one way or the other, taking a quick boo at your friends list, I would say there are a fair number of fakes there. I've had a few (and still have some of them) on my friends list and the ones we have in common have nevrer responded to my messages either. It's been my online experience that people who create fake profiles are usually picture hounds and really have no interest in communicating except to increase their collection. So, friendly hello's and get to know ya's are usually not responded to, but if you say, wanna swap pics? That would probably generate a response. lol

I've also found that people online also forget that they are communicating with real people on the other end. No idea why that is, maybe because it's mostly pixels on the screen? But anyways, I find normal polliteness is not always followed.

For me, if I don't get responses from them, I just take it that they aren't into meeting new people and usually just delete them....when I get around to it. lol...I'm not very diligent on keeping up on my friends list.
