I think Goodell's handled it pretty well - talked extensively with him to hear how he's changed, put a support system in place to help him change, and given time to make sure things go well. Also given teams the info they need and a situation where he can be brought in immediately to try to make him productive quickly.
That said, do I want him on my team? No.
