Nudist Resort First Time
Hello! I recently made a post asking some questions regarding my first time at a nudist resort and I just want to thank anyone who responded! Thank you!
Now I interesting in hearing about eveyone's first time at a nudist resort! I will be visiting soon and im really excited!
Well, my first time was documented in a few messages, before I knew that when the recipient deletes a received message, or removes their profile, my sent copies also disappear, so it's gone, BUT a fairly good representation is on my profile under blogs as a newbies perspective.
My first visit to a resort was this past Memorial Day ( USA ) weekend. Just wish I'd discovered the place when I lived 3 miles away, some 25 years ago and didn't know it was there !
First time??? About 13 years ago at the Terra Cotta Inn. We were going to a Christian book conference in Palm Springs. I saw an article in the paper and suggested we stay there. She wasn't sure and concerned that I might be getting into sexual stuff, but that never materialized. Just regular folks, relaxing, smiling and being friendly. We have since moved on to becoming club members and besides our Wednesday visits we camp out several weeks a summer. I think nudism has strengthened our marriage by giving us more time together. We do things together and apart. When we're camping I play water volleyball on Tuesday nights and she comes down, gets on the Web and does some business. That first time really got us moving forward. Because of the friendliness of Tom and Mary Claire we saw how great everyone was in that lifestyle when they aren't stressed out.
MY first time was about 5-6 years ago. My boyfriend (now my husband) suggested that we go to a naturist retreat (Steph's Pond) near where he used to live in New York. While I'd never thought twice about being nude in the comforts of my own home and yard, it just never occured to me that there were places you could go where everyone was nude and I was a little leary. Had the usual newbie concerns - everyone will be looking at me, I'm not comfortable with the way I look, is this a sexual thing, etc. He reassured me that it was a clothing optional place and that whatever my comfort level was, would be fine. LOL, not sure which of us was more surprised when I had all my clothes off within 10 minutes of being there. (hehehe, initially it felt like everyone was looking at me because I was the only one WITH clothes on!) Had a wonderful weekend and was mentally kicking and screaming when I realized I had to put my clothes back on when it was time to leave. Someday we both hope to live at a nudist club full time.

My first time was at a resort I went to because I wanted to go skinny-dipping like I used to at the Y before it went co-ed and required suits. I read in the paper about a resort that was not that far from my home and when I asked for information was glad to hear that they accepted single males. The criteria for membership was that I had to make 4 visits and be interviewed each time by someone on the membership committee.
Before my first visit I was a bit nervous because I had never been nude in mixed company before. Undressing in locker rooms or camp cabins was never a problem but it was always in front of others of the same sex and also just for changing, not for just going around nude for an extended period of time.
Before my first visit I practiced by going nude alone for extended periods of time so that I would be comfortable with it.
During my visit I learned how comfortable it was to be nude in the fresh air and sunshine in front of other men, women, boys, and girls without embarrassment. I quickly made the required visits and interviews to become a member.
I did not realize that when I made that first visit that I would like being nude so much that I would eventually move into a clothing optional community so I could be nude all the time.
Last week at Serendipity Resort near Cleveland Ga! I had been ready for some time to go, but the wife didn't! We do things together, so I would not go without her anywhere. She finally agreed and really surprised me at how quickly she grabbed a towel and hit the pool. Patience can pay off! Now we are told that our nudist neighbors are planning a trip soon for all of us to Cypress Cove. Whoopie! Bring it on!
...just outside Vancouver was the first time I visited such a place. Actually, it is a small enclosed residential community with year round living.
I was invited by a lady friend (before I was married) to visit for a few days. Since I had already been a nudist for many years, it was no big deal...just different to see the whole community going about their daily chores in the nude. Quite refreshing actually. I don't know if it is still there or not, as this was some 25 years ago.
