I feel the entire concept of female and couples-only clubs and resorts directly discriminates against younger nudists, who are less likely to be involved in a relationship, while simoultaneously sexualizing the entire nature ofthealleged"nudist" resort.
Imagine nudism did not involve naked bodies, but rather, it was about...collecting coins. Would we then still ban single males, in favor of keeping a quota of female-to-male ratio? The answer is no. And why is that? (Rhetorical.)

I have read most of the posts on this topic and though i am new to nudism and have not been to any public places, i can agree from research and responses i have had by women and couples on this site.
It's basically a "Peter pays for Paul, and Paul pays for all" situation. From history and general interaction, women and some couples have been harrassed by single men , of a certain age group, and from that we all get put into that category. There are many women who are aggressive, but go unchecked which is unfair.
From quick research i did notice that men were either not allowed at some resorts or were charged more than some other groups. In an enclosed environment, i can see the need for a level of equality. But there must be some wiggle room for a few extra of either sex (just good business sense and a good gesture).
Even on this site, a lot of women and couples victimize single men. Several state they are lesbians, Bisexual and Bicurious and do not want contact from single men. Hopefully this is based on personal experience and not on propaganda and tales from other bitter people. I have several lesbian, bisexual, gay and bicurious friends and none of us discriminate against each other. I personally have had a few conversations with as many as 5 women (of various sexual orientations) and i have not once said or done anything offensive. Isn't that strange..i thought single men were all pervs.
Basically i believe that each person should be given a chance to prove what sort of person he is and if he does not belong or causes trouble, then be asked to desist or leave.
I would like to point out that it is not just clubs that will not allow single males. There are a number of profiles on this site that say couples or females only can be our friend. I think it is the members of the clubs that help make club policy. Sunlover

At a resort, they get ID, and pretty much confirm who a person is. In here, we get 20-30 friend requests a week from guys, 90% of whom we've never talked to in chat, never sent us a message, and who have given us nothing to go on. Most can't give me a hint of bonafides.
Would you have a problem with a friend request from a woman that you never spoke to in chat or has no information about herself?

My question was directed at hypocrites, most of whom are couples, who made it very clear that they do not want to meet single men, to 'protect themselves'. And I agree with what NudeInMa said about guys pretending to be women, but look at this way, how many of them would still do it if nobody would reject them just because they were single guys.

How do you want a women to take seriously a guy like that?
I feel that if clubs, and nudist resorts open to everyone that you would have mostly males. They would be making the women their uncomfortable by watching or showing them perverted actions. The other males would be there for the males that are gay. You would have a few that was there for the true meaning of being a nudist. Tercota has the best solution and it seems to be very sucessful the way they do it and I for one appraise it. I am single but I have not problem with it because I can see what would happen.
