No No
Hi , Looking for feedback on the No No. has anyone bought one or used one ,are results any good ?..
I didn't get the No No, but I did get the TRIA laser system. I started about this time last year, but due to the early spring, and very warm weather, the tan got too dark, too early so treatments came to a halt. I started again this winter once the tan faded, and am definitely noticing the difference now. I was able to quickly get back up to the highest (5) setting, and hair growth is very slow now.
They are two different technologies. The TRIA will allegedly kill the hair follicle completely and stop hair growth, but is rather painful in the beginning. The No No is more akin to waxing results. Super smooth for a period of time, but will eventually grow back (Though they claim lighter and finer) and is allegedly pain free.
I will say the No No looks to be much less time consuming, especially for large areas. The TRIA's laser head is about the size of a pencil eraser, so it takes a long time to cover any area, and the higher the setting, the faster you go through the battery (and the more pain). If you're looking to zap your legs, I'd go for the No No. If the area to be covered is somewhat smaller, and you want permanent results, the TRIA.
I wonder (If money were no object), if a year of No No, followed by a year of TRIA would be the way to go.
Also, for the TRIA, you must have fairly fair skin tone and dark hair. If you have dark skin and/or light hair, it won't work. The energy from the laser is not absorbed correctly. If you do decide on the TRIA, search the web for a discount code. They seem to run them fairly frequently. I got mine for $300 plus shipping (315 and change) which was a $150 off. They are running a similar deal direct from their web page now.

I bought No No two weeks ago. Being south asian (from India) and having darker body hair, results are NOT very impressive as of now. Yes it is painless to remove hair, but takes a while to remove hair from entire chest and it smells bad during the process.
I plan to use continue using it to see if it makes any difference.
An update on my Tria progress. My last treatment this season was on Apr 6th (To dark of a tan to continue again - same issue I had last year). Since then I have not shaved either. The hairs are much less dense, considerably softer and lighter in color, and growing much slower. It's been 12 weeks now, and the growth is what it would have been after about three weeks before I started the treatments.

So I've used the Tria for two full seasons now, and thought some of you might want an update. It has slowed the hair growth considerably and what does grow is noticeably thinner, softer, and lighter in color (which may make future sessions less effective, but we will see). It has been two months since my last shave, and I decided to photographically document the results. To see the results, I created a tumblr page here https://cobeachbum.tumblr.com/ (Remove the 's' from http, this site automatically adds it). Pictures in order are 7 days, 14 days, 28 days, 42 days, 49 days, 56 days.
