Who is calling you names? I'm not. Chicago has been lobbying for stiffer sentencing when it comes to gun crimes and illegal weapons to stop the gang violence. Do you know which organization funds the fight against this idea? That's right, the NRA. Any gun law would cut into the profit of their lobby groups. Clearly, nothing should be done to limit or restrain gun violence. Have at it boys.
Thank you Wayne LaPierre. 10 years ago, you were in favour of background checks on everyone buying a gun. Now you call them a waste of time. While police associations across the country believe that they are helpful.

Why am I not the least bit surprised that conservatives such as gassy and the one with the pussy fixation only wish to associate with others that they perceive as similar to themselves? Do they not understand that dialogue with others with dissimilar ideas will expand their world view? I suppose if you just want to pat your buddies on the back, shut out those who are perceived as different, and shun the outside world your choices are becoming either a conservative or Amish. The conservatives want to return to an earlier century and the Amish are already there. The difference is that the Amish look and act quaint.

That is their stock-in-trade. The only way that they can get attention is with their Chicken Little tactics. Once they have their sound bites, and cute little sayings, and bumper stickers they then congregate around their AM (hate) radio to make the most vitriol of them millionaires for shouting that the sky is falling, the sky is falling.

Britain has not had a gun massacre since Dunblane Scotland, many years ago. And Britain has strict gun control as well. If you can't recognize the correlation between gun control and less gun deaths, including children, then you are either being deliberately obtuse, or you are just plain stupid. But, fine, don't do anything to prevent it or save lives. Let it keep happening once a month if you like. With the representative of the NRA now claiming that background checks are useless, you seem to be going in that direction. I found Obama's speech inspiring last night, and to watch the sad old white men of the rethugnican party sit on their hands when dead children and victims were acknowledged and remembered was disgusting.
For Christ's sake, come up with some way of controlling or limiting the death and the mayhem. You propose no answers whatsoever. Which makes you a part of the problem. And I wouldn't be surprised if you were the next "crazy" to climb the water tower and start shooting.
