Noon Daylight is Ugly
When ever possible try to take your photos early or late in the day. Midday sun is probably the least flattering of all light conditions. It creates little modeling effect and can result in deeply shadowed eye sockets. This can sometime be overcome through the use of fill in flash even in bright light situations. Morning and late afternoon light is generally softer and contains more of the warm spectrum, yellow/red as opposed to the bluish noon time light. Much more flattering to the body.
