New to site and nudist
Normally we do not answer questions from people with blank profiles but we'll assume that you are very new and are being honest.
When you go to a nudist resort for the first time, make sure that it's clothing optional and not nudity required. Try to go during the week when there's less of a crowd. Bring the normal things that you would usually take to the beach or a pool. Bring at least two towels for each of you. One for sitting (nudists always should sit on a towel and not put their bare backside on any seats.) and one for drying. A large beach towel will be your best friend, so be sure you each have one of those.
Cultural shock No. 1. Nudist resorts do not have changing rooms. Most people dress and undress by their cars. Some people (mostly women) use the restrooms to undress, even including some long time nudists. Cultural shock No. 2. Some resorts have private showers but most of the showers gang showers or open air. It is proper behavior to shower before entering the pool or hot tub, so some first timers avoid using those.
As you prepare to greet the world, sans clothing, place the large beach towel over your shoulder and spread it in front to cover what you're not fully ready to expose. The sun and breeze on your bare backside will give you an indication of the pleasure of nudism. Greet people as you would at any other venue. Talk about the things that interest you or them; jobs, kids, weather, sports. If you're feeling comfortable and the towel drops off, great. If not leave the towel in place.
Once you feel comfortable enough to drop the towel, then you'll have a bigger task ahead of you. Reluctantly putting your clothes back on to go home. We hope this helps. Good luck and keep us posted.

I was worried about getting nude around other nudists, when I was planning on going so I talked to a couple of friends on here and set a date to meet at Avalon Resort,when I got there I met a friend of a friend that was his first time also,he went and parked his truck and I signed in and met him in the lot and he was already nude so I ask where he changed and and he said beside his truck so I did the same,was worried but as soon as I got my clothes off I looked around and saw no one was staring at me so I relaxed some,I tell you if felt great! and when I met my other friends and some of theirs it just felt natural,had a great time that day and didn't want to get dressed to go home.So find a clothing op.Resort or other place and go,take your time and get nude when you're ready,you will enjoy it.Hope you get to do this soon,you'll love it!
